Ujamaa Works is an informal network of financial services professionals and students, educating ourselves and others about cooperative economics. Members work in accounting, finance, tax, management consulting and related fields. Ujamaa is the Swahili word for "cooperative economics" which is one of our guiding principles on our mission to prepare ourselves and other financial services professionals for work in solidarity economy enterprises and non-extractive finance.
