Ujamaa Works is an informal network of financial services professionals and students, educating ourselves about cooperative economics that is centered around the needs of black and indigenous communities. Members work in accounting, finance, tax, management consulting and related fields. Ujamaa is the Swahili word for "cooperative economics" which is one of our guiding principles on our mission to educate ourselves and others about solidarity economy enterprises and non-extractive finance.
